Boo!!

Wow, September has gone by fast!!
We are only a couple days from the start of October.

Esther here, with a project to get you started decorating for Halloween.

One of our newest files is an awesome 3D table decoration - file #66934, Boo Table Decor Box.

I love the added spider web with hanging spider

and those awesome eyes!!

They add so much fun to the project.

This is a nice, big box which will make a great centerpiece; or fun decor for your mantel or bookshelf.

Spiders and bats? where??

Hello friends!! Ruthie here! Before I go on with my post and since this is my last post at SnapDragon Snippets Blog as a Creative Member, I want to thank Mike and Gaby for trusting in me, in my talent. I enjoyed working with you and your files!! I cannot find word to describe what I feel while I´m writing my post, just a big thank you with all my heart!

For this post I made some bats using the file bat flourish and spiders using the file slice form spider

My daughter Andrea likes spiders (I really don´t know why), so I thought in making spiders to decorate the house for this upcoming Halloween.

Here you can see all of them!

Other view!

Fall Rosette Banner

Hello Everyone, Esther here to help you welcome in the fall!!

I'm sharing a banner I made with one of our newest Files! It is design # 66651, Fall Rosette Large Banner Flags.

I created it using papers by We R Memory Keepers in the "Harvest" collection.

The colors in this collection are not the traditional fall colors, but they are very pretty and I'm happy with this non-traditional take on the banner.

It was fun to make and went together very easily!!!!

You still have time to join our September Contest here!

Hope to see your entry linked up with us.

More Sunflowers and Bumble Bees

Hi all! Today I am sticking to my fall sunflower and bumble bee theme by using the sunflower and bee swirl border ID #46802

This cutting file is so useful because it works at different sizes without needing a lot of extra embellishments. I used it on an A2 card but you could use it on a 5 x 7 card or the corner of a fall scrapbook layout.

Have a great creative day! Jearise from Lorby's World

Look what's going on at Snapdragon Snippets.

Crayon Box for fun

Hi this is Lissa here to post my very last project from being on the creative team that Mike and Kenzie has had me on for the last 6 months.  It has been a treat, challenging at times when family gets heavy on the workload but I have enjoyed the different view of a design team.  Today I have something very simple for you, it is actually a crayon box but I love to make them for storage boxes,  I will put note pads in them, favorite pens, ect.  Using DCWV paper, I love this paper and didn't need the panels they had to go with the file.   I put an insert on the inside because I love the washi tape look when all the pens are not in there.   I really love this file, they have one for 8 or 16 crayons.

Here is the backside.  Cute little thing for my desk at work!

Now that I am looking at it again, I should have wrapped it in twine!

I hope I have inspired you to make one, they are great for cards to store in, fun little gift boxes for kids many possibilities.  I always try to to think outside of the box!

Thanks Hope to see you again!

Buzzing Bee and a Sunflower

How is everyone doing this fine fall day? I hope you've gotten some fall crafting done these past few weeks. The temperatures have gotten cooler and the sunflowers are in glorious full bloom which makes this 3D Sunflower Box ID #46801 irresistible.

I just love the way the top of this box is and that bee is the perfect buzzing addition.

I spritzed the box with my Glimmer Mist in Kiwi (I couldn't get a good picture of the glitter mist on the box.) before adding the layers to the top. I also used a paperclip that I twisted with my jewelry making tools to uplift that adorable little bumblebee.

This is a great little box to fill with goodies for a teacher, family friend or relative!

Have a great creative day! Jearise from Lorby's World

Viva Mexico!

Hello Crafting friends! Ruthie here.Hope you hare having a great Monday! As you may know tomorrow Mexico will be celebrating The Independence Day and I wanted to make something related to it. I made a banner with the saying "Viva Mexico" as those are the words that the President says that night at the at The National Palace at the end of the celebration which is called "El Grito" you can learn more here Mexican Independence Day 16 de Septiembre: El Grito de Independencia.

I used the file build a banner #15896, #15897, #15899 and #15898  for the banner. Used the colors of the Flag of Mexico, green, white and red. Added some ribbon to the back part where the letters are; also, tricolor. Here down is a close-up of the banners.

Like this build a banner very much!! Es pretty easy to assemble, you won't need any ribbon or lace to get all the banner together.

Also, I made 2 bells using the Liberty Bell and Mini Flag Swag #61639 file. I added some gold sequins and the tricolor ribbon.

Hope you like it!!

As you can see the roses look almost real!! plus are very easy to assemble as pretty much all the SnapDragon Snippets Designs.

Here is a close-up of the roses. Look really beautiful!!!

Gift Tote For Pint Jar

Hello all, Esther here with a cute gift idea for your childs favorite teacher!!!

A little bit of an upscaled twist on the old "apple for the teacher"!!

To make this cute gift I used one of our new files, #65667 Gift Tote For Pint Jar. Although I used a smaller jar, I also included an apple, so it made my treat a little larger than a pint jar. Therefore I enlarged the file, once I had downloaded it, so that it would be about 5 1/4" tall.

On the inside I enclosed a jar with homemade carmel apple dip, along with an apple.

I found this recipe on Pinterest at the blog Jo and Sue, and I will pass it on to you.

I used 4oz. canning jars for my dip.

Apple with Caramel Cream Cheese Dip

Ingredients
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
10 pkgs (2 oz ea.) caramel dip (*note - I substituted a 16oz tub of caramel dip)
2 Skor candy bars (I substituted Heath candy bars)
8 apples
8 (1/2 cup each) mason jars

Directions
Mix softened cream cheese with 4 oz caramel dip (2 pkgs of the 2 oz pkgs). Mix until smooth. Divide evenly amongst the 8 jars. Wipe rims. Spoon remaining caramel dip into jars (1 each if using the 2 oz pkgs). Crush up both Skor bars. Sprinkle Skor crumbs evenly amongst the 8 jars. Place lid on jars. Top each jar with an apple. Wrap in cellophane and tie with ribbon. Keep refrigerated until ready to give.

I don't guarantee an automatic "A', but it sure can't hurt LOL!!!

Hi this is Lissa to share a post with you about labels, these labels are named "for canning jar tops" in the store but you can use them for so much more.  These labels are from the Snapdragon Snippets Designs, Design ID #65834.  I was only able to show you one example on a card, you can use them on anything adding your own artwork fonts whatever you like.
Here are some of the other designs I used with the labels,  I drew some myself, (the pumpkin) I used some digital kits just a little of this and that, showing you how you can use them for labeling jars, having pretty things, cupcake toppers, even making sticker rewards for your kids.   I use the LD glossy photo sticker paper from Amazon and they print just beautiful.  They are suppose to be washable too!  I wished I could have used them in more samples but I ran out of time.   To much fun picking out the designs!  Here is a sheet I reprinted, can't wait to use them I can even put them on scrapbook pages!

I hope you have enjoyed this post and the next time I see you it will be my last post!  The new team will be coming in and I will continue to enjoy the files I have used from this team!
Would love to hear your comments!
